SUMMER PROGRAM

WHY WE DO IT

190+ STUDENTS
200+ TUTORS

DreamCatchers served 190+ students this school year with near-peer tutoring, mentorship, and enrichment opportunities - representing over a 100% increase in enrollment since 2021-2022.

As part of our program, we also provided 200+ local high school and college-aged students with a sustained service-learning opportunity.

HOW WE ARE DIFFERENT

Being local is critical to what we do and why we do it. 74% of the students DreamCatchers supports live in Palo Alto, with significant representation from the neighboring communities of East Palo Alto, Belle Haven, and Fair Oaks. We are the only no-cost program operating on campus in Palo Alto, providing tutoring and mentoring to PAUSD middle school students.

74%

Nearly all DreamCatchers students believe the program helps them with schoolwork in ways their families cannot.
